Come Unto Zion, A Season Debut

This Thursday, the Utah Jazz look to extend their likely 10-game win streak to 11 games by beating the Pelicans in New Orleans.

That’s right, we just predicted the Jazz to win in Brooklyn on Tuesday night to get their 10th straight win! Even if the Jazz don’t beat Kyrie and Company, basketball purists will gather together on Thursday to witness the anticipated NBA debut of one of the most versatile, explosive, and athletic players since the likes of King James himself.

Zion Williamson is expected to be on the court versus the Jazz after a lengthy recovery from injury and has apparently learned how to walk again! We’re guessing this time he ditched the Nike PG 2.5s and learned how to walk in some Jordans, thanks to his new sponsorship with His Airness.

If Zion plays, he will bring his unicorn playing style (one we’ve never quite seen before) to the court challenging the Jazz to guard him at all positions on the floor.

If you remember the preseason, Zion often had his way with drawing Rudy Gobert out on the perimeter and getting to the rim with his speed. Don’t expect that to happen again as Rudy is playing at another level and we expect Zion to be playing conservative and on a minutes restriction.

The Jazz likely win this handily for 11-straight Mike Conley-less wins and fans coming to watch Zion will, for the moment, be disappointed.
