Wow. Just wow.
Months after the New England Patriots turned the page on the Tom Brady era, Brady got the last laugh by leading his new team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, to the Super Bowl.
And as a die-hard sports fan who got sick and tired of the same old, same old with Brady, Belichick, and the Patriots year after year, this Super Bowl feels completely different. And, as I referenced on the a recent podcast, I don’t hate Tom Brady like I used to. Or at all for that matter.
So, it begs the question did Tom Brady do more for his personal PR and brand OR for his dominance as the greatest QB of all time. Or both?
Sure, there are those who hate Tom Brady. He’s got everything – the supermodel wife, the looks, the jewelry (6 SB rings), and the envy of the football world. But you gotta admit, this year feels different. This year, I’m sort of rooting for Tom Brady to get it done yet again.
Yes, the Guys on the Sideline has completed jumped on the Bills Mafia bandwagon. And a close second would be our love for Andy Reid, Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.
But this matchup feels different. For one, I may be open to either team winning.
So bravo, Tom Brady. For yet another amazing record-breaking season. And for also maybe turning me, along with a lot of others, into a fan of yours.
